    Time Event
    12:48a
    Spouting.
Went with a friend to the CNE to help her find the returning employees' office yesterday... we took the wrong streetcar and ended up at Spadina station, lol... had to go all the way back down...

The CNE in its off-season is a giant playground/park : ) It's nice to just walk around... without the crowds. Beautiful expanses of blue sky... the smell of horse manure... lol, well that part was bad, but once you get near the Dufferin exit, it's nicer.

Yeung Chow-style fried rice is the bomb. There was a time when I went to this Asian mall a lot, not Pmall, and I had it almost every time I went there. It's fried rice, with peas, BBQ pork, shrimp, and regular stuff like carrots and spring onion.

Chinese donuts too... I really shouldn't eat them a lot, I probably don't even eat one in a few weeks... but very good.

I'm sort of glad I'm too lazy to go out to buy food, otherwise I'd be out the door at every temptation. Like right now, I'd like a Philly Cheese Steak, but I'll probably wake up late tomorrow and not go because I don't want to waste the day. I also would love a bowl of Vietnamese noodles, with beef slices... gaaargghh drool.

"One X" by Three Days Grace is MUCH better than the first one! Same with Evanescence's "The Open Door". Sadly, Disturbed's "10 000 Fists" is the same and worse. Tool's "10 000 Days" is not quite as addictive as the others... and I do love my Tool.

Linkin Park's "Minutes to Midnight" is a definite change into soft rock. I can't say they got more "emo" because they were "emo" to begin with... just less raw screaming. : ( I like this new style, just was disappointed to see it from beloved Linkin.

Loving Starsailor... it's right on the mark, since I can't take a lot of that moany style (no Travis for me).

I find that, in online games, there are a lot of "strong and silent" types.

"Strong", because they are chair-rooted nerds who grind for hours.

"Silent", because they probably don't speak English, or are busy grinding.

Then, there are opportunistic bastards. People who don't heal when they could. Who don't share drops, who don't ask if anyone needs anything, who picks up things that others need, who charges friends for the things that they do pick up, or scam them. Those who flirt for gifts. Those who don't come to help you if you're on a quest. Those who go to town while in a shared-exp party. Those who ask for money and items. Higher leveled people who don't help you out, help you level a bit. Those who see you dying and don't come to your aid. Those who leave a group just because people are a few levels lower. Opportunistic bastards and leechers, ugh.

    Current Mood: blah
