Increasing median age = Seniors will rule the day! The apocalypse always shows young people getting killed. When in reality, dropping birth rates and increased longevity due to healthcare and nutrition will probably turn movies like Armageddon, Deep Impact, and The Day After Tomorrow into Grumpy Old Men, Cocoon, and Waking Ned Devine.

Man, I had the craziest dream where I was being killed by an elderly female assassin. I had wrestled the scalpel away from her, but you had to use it a certain way to cut. So I was slashing away at her hand, and not making anything deeper than a papercut. She had me caught by a rope, and was sitting on the floor pulling me towards her as she flicked steak knives pulled from the kitchen drawer at my feet, smirking. Her accomplice, an elderly man with a Baretta, was searching my bedroom for a hidden child whom I'd rescued. My room was also a floor at the Toronto Reference Library. I was also Superman, but I couldn't fly so I had to run into the library. My ex-lover was holding the child hostage in a bookstore. He caught me as I was hiding the child in a bookshelf. I tried to escape but he was already at my door, flanked by the two elderly assassins. He turned out to be working for some criminal organization, who was going to kill him if he didn't have the child. But he had plans to run away to a deserted island on a boat. He showed me the island, and I begged to go with him. He said no. He got killed by the assassins, who were bought out by his boss. But he had also given them orders to kill me too. And that's where I woke up.

I also dreamt I got scolded by Queen Elizabeth for showing cleavage... LOL

In my second dream, I dreamt I was at Legolas Training Camp. I had to pin a throwing knife into a peeled banana from where I sat in the living room, all the way into the kitchen. There were 2 blond elf trainers there, looking like they dyed their hair blonde and with ill-fitting elven garb. My first throw went awry, but my second one got right in. Which surprised the two trainers. Hooray!

One of my favourite dreams I've had in the past 2 weeks was finding love... I was to pick from a table featuring Superman, Batman, the Green Lantern, the Silver Surfer, and some flaming dude. I picked Superman, but he had risen from the table. I chased after him, but he went to a different floor... and when I got there, it was a vast room full of nothing but rollercoaster tracks without tracks, just solid and slippery plexiglass. Superman was at the bottom, and I had to get down to him. I remember slipping a lot. And then I somehow ended up killing a giant in someone's backyard.

lol, the Batman/superhero thing is 'cause I've been reading "The Dark Knight Returns". Batman is ooooooooold now. Superman blames him for bringing public vengeance on superheroes. I think Superman was hired to kill him. : (

I also read "Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth". Batman gets trapped inside the asylum where he put all the baddies away, like Harvey Dent (Two-Face) and Joker. THAT one is twisted.
