Current mood: giddy
Current music:Maroon 5 - If I Never See Your Face Again

Exciting happenings.
So, I just got e-mails from beyond the grave from Socrates and Euripides... LOL

--------
Dorcas's wedding was beautiful! :*) My friend's older sister... I was a bride's attendant, which basically meant I got to wake up reaaaaaal early to join the other bride's attendants in pranking the groom and his "posse". xD Each of them now has a perfectly rectangular bald patch on their legs, sore feet and backs, and a potential fetish for stockings, lol

You could tell how sweet Eric (the groom) was, when tears started to stream during the vows. ^^ A lot of people from church were there, and I can't understand how the couple managed to keep afloat the entire time. You know how your face gets sore from smiling too much? But even by night, Dorcas and Eric were still very gracious. One auntie told us she knew Eric would be a good husband because when she went to congratulate him, he got really emotional and shook her hand enthusiastically, lol

Weddings wouldn't exist without screw-ups; originally I was to be seated at the banquet with my mum, but somehow there was only one seat left! I got a fold-up chair. lol... Our family is pretty close with the bride and her parents, so they deliberatley put us with close family friends of theirs... who had a son... it was weird, but he was pretty cool. And his mom really liked me?? ehehe *tugs collar* He reminded me of a much better-looking Emotion Eric (start from the bottom), lol

During the day, I wore an ivory coloured top with a wide, horizontal neck which showed the tops of the shoulders, and a gauzy, spring floral print w/ multiple layers... and at night I wore a brown lacey tank with a knitted, mini-jacket type thing (the ones that just stop below the breast line), and a mocha coloured skirt with cream-coloured under layers, and small bead work as the design.

----------

"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" deserved 2 watchs, and more! : D As a friend said, it was EPIC. I liked the artsy stuff, the beautiful scene where they are sailing under a reflection of stars... the whole "up is down" thing... the cute stone crabs (hehe, "shoo")... Calypso turning huge... the whirlpool fight scene... Jack Sparrow's very dashing aerial acrobatics, when he closes one eye to take a shot at Davy Jones as he's swinging on a rope... and the pronunciation of "Jack Sparra!"

Not yet! The photographer sent the discs to the family first, so they can pick, and then they said they'd divide them up and print some and send them out. But I saw them... and the back of my head is in 2 pictures? lol

Oh man, my mom and our family friends... they were all talking about how the kids (us) are "getting to that age"... and they're not-so-subtly hinting that they are looking forward to more wedding invitations -___-;

And another cousin is getting married! I have 3 cousins marrying this year alone! o_O
